I’m trying to create a blog that is simple, clean, and fresh to the eyes. I strive for a simple life with a simple vision, being that simplicity is the key to understanding things in full. Of course studying photography is not as simple as some may think, its important for everyone, no matter what your profession is to not build a high tolerance to stress. Tolerance is not the same thing as dealing with the obstacle at hand. My main focus right now is to explore what is taken for granted and passed by everyday by so many. The chipping paint and the rusty wall hold history and a sense that time waits for no one. These things are beautiful to me. Not to say by taking many elements and creating situations your self is not great, because it is. Its just that our inspiration is derived from our surroundings, and that it’s important to see all you can.
thanks man

Remarkable work here, Griffin. I like your eye, sense of composition, and love of simplicity: the black-and-white staircase shot in particular. And the tension in the scream-tolerate image is particularly fine, as you point out, because of the model’s expression. If ever I cobble together a single adequate photo blog for my own work, it will have been (don’t you love the future perfect tense?) stimulated by the impetus from your own good blog here.
Keep it up (I plan to revisit!).
You just get better & better son. I’m so proud of you!!
