The Museum

Food Is Great!

I have been getting interested in food photography for awhile now, I just haven’t had time to do anything till now. I think the beauty of food is best shown when it is raw and plainly  against a high key background. This was shot with the Leaf Aptus 17 digital back. AMAZING detail!!

Monday the 16th of Febuary My class and I ventured out with our professor James Walters. James had prepared a day of shooting model’s on location. He had found an old beat up theater in Asheboro. I brought a XH-A1 video recorder to document, which was fun but not half as fun as it was working with all my friends that will soon be going in seperate directions. At the end of the day a model walked in named Caroline. I loved her look and could not wait to get some funky shots with her. We waited till the last second, but I think we got some good stuff. I shot with a Nikon D300 with a 17 mm using 2 Alien Bees in the balcony of the theater. It was a Grand Day…

Thank You Will…

During the Monday shoot I met a model named Will… Sorry Will for not remembering your last name. We decided to do some business portraits and some athletic shots. For being new to the modeling game Will was very composed. Thanks again Will… This was shot with a Nikon D300 using a 17 mm and a 24-85 mm with  2 Alien Bees with large soft boxes.021609_will

Bath Time

I know Cats hate water and everything but something about the way they go from furry little lovable creatures to wet rat looking vermin is crazy. I’m not cruel, she needed a bath even though she cleans herself. This was punishment for getting in the trash and smelling like poop. sorry girl…addie
